This hotel is a gem. It is basic and a bit dated but incredibly clean and has every amenity you could want. The owner checked via phone to confirm what time I would arrive which was a nice personal touch. I loved how close it was to SOLO wilderness medicine and Tuckerman’s Brewery. As someone who grew up in coos county (though bo longer live there) I have seen how challenging it can be to run a business in northern NH. These folks do a great job. Thank you!!!

Great location, clean room that was pet friendly, friendly staff, and easy check in/out process. I would highly recommend this location and even stay here again!

Such a cute location, a little older, very comfortable, precious place, they gave us good advice on where to eat. We ate at Almost There in North Conway for dinner and food was delicious. Ate at Sweet Maple for breakfast, small but, tasty. Both locations had ample parking. Covered Bridges were close, traffic is heavy, Just FYI The Kancamangus Highway was close and beautiful. If you can hold it, restroom oriented that is, go to The Russell-Colbath Homestead, they have a barn and nice facilities there, prior to seeing the house. Well worth the wait, lol.

We got this room very last minute. This is a cozy motel in the middle of New Hampshire that is worth checking out. The owner is very friendly and has definitely put their love into this place. Great place to stay if you are interested in touring the Kancamagus Highway National Forest area.

This was a stop before we headed to Mt Washington. Nice rooms, clean, good bed. Owner called us as we were driving in to tell us how to access room (we were running late). Close to everything if you are having out in the Conway area.

Service was great, owner called to check on our arrival details which was nice. Room was very clean and updated with comfortable beds. Nice sized frig with a small freezer section. Traffic in that area is high so a little road noise but not bad at all. Only odd thing was the large picture of Thomas the Tank Engine hanging beside the bed, his eyes seemed to follow your every move. Avoid room 103 if you don't like to be watched all night by a train, haha

Stayed here for a few nights with my dog on a solo trip exploring the White Mountains area. I loved being able to walk around to some local spots with him and check out some trails, but still was able to leave him to nap while I shopped and dined in nearby North Conway. There is plenty to do with your dog in this area no matter their activity level. Only two of the rooms are dog friendly so no worries if you’re someone with allergies, but our room was clean and did not smell like dogs at all when we arrived. My only complaint is that I wish there was more to do after 8pm other than get ice cream or get a drink at Applebees, but you don’t really come up to this area for the nightlife anyways.
I read all the reviews, I cannot believe people are complaining about noise or the neighborhood being unsafe. We went for lots of walks in the neighborhood around the hotel and everyone we passed smiled and said hello. The local public library across the street was holding outdoor children’s events in the afternoons. I did not find the intersection loud at all, granted I live near a small city, but I found it very peaceful even at rush hour and Saturday morning. The AC is not complicated, just a simple window unit but it does the job. I never needed to speak with the staff beyond checking in but they were friendly when passing by and at check in, offering recommendations for local restaurants. There are lots of positive notes about the stays of past guests tucked into the glass tabletops of the furniture as well which was nice to see!
If you’re not looking for anything luxurious this is a perfect quaint little spot! There are so many places to stay in this area I would definitely stay here again, great price and easy check in/check out. Especially if you have a dog and you want to travel with your pup!
