Who runs Scenic Inn? Lawrence Shea, since September 2026. The Petersons ran it as a family business for 20 years before that. It's still family-run.

Hi, I'm Shea. For 20 years the Petersons ran Scenic Inn as a family business, and as of September 2026 it's my family's turn. My fiancée and I are working hard to do as good a job as they did and keep it family-run: a free continental breakfast every morning, a short walk to the Conway and Swift River covered bridges, and a real person on the other end of the phone. Questions
What is served in the morning?
A free self-serve continental breakfast, daily, 7:30–10 AM. Help yourself to coffee and frozen favorites from the display freezer, like waffles, breakfast burritos, sausage links, Toaster Strudels and more, and heat them in the lobby microwave and toaster. Each room also has a small single-cup coffee maker.
What are the front desk hours?
Front desk: 7:30 AM–8 PM, and we stay until the last guest checks in. 24-hour phone line: if you have a problem or need something, call us any time.
Are dogs allowed?
Up to 2 dogs, in rooms 101, 102 and 103 only. The $25 per dog per night dog fee is included in the dog-friendly rate when you book online. Pet fees apply only when you bring a pet. No cats. A $250 fee applies for pets in non-pet rooms.
What is the cancellation policy?
Full payment is charged at booking. Cancellations made 3 or more days before check-in receive a full refund. Cancellations within 3 days of check-in and no-shows are non-refundable.
Is there a minimum stay?
1 night on all rooms.
Do you charge per person or for children?
No. Pricing is flat per room, with no per-person or children's charges.
